About Me

I first discovered Anthony's Italian Deli from my Mimi.  We were talking about muffaletta's and she said you have to go to Anythony's Italian Deli!   She said they are better than Central Grocery in NOLA!  Mimi was right!   Absolutely the best sandwiches and muffaletta I have ever had, hands down.

Anthony's Italian Deli is truly a hidden gem in the city of Baton Rouge!

"The BEST Italian sandwiches in the U.S. The "Deli" and their turkey w/ provolone are out of this world .....Fresh & hot they cannot be missed. The ingredients are super fresh and the portions are NOT small - which is good since you'll want to eat until you are sick these are so delish. I can't believe they haven't been franchised yet.

Do not pass up another meal/opportunity to go to Anthony's!"

"You truly cannot get any more Italian than Anthonys! Tucked back in the corner of a shopping center off Florida Blvd may make it challenging to find, but its well worth search. The sandwiches are amazing! "

"If you are looking for a TRUE Italian Deli, this place is for you. The sandwiches are the best, and you can find those hard to come by italian meats and cheeses. The owner even speaks with a strong accent making you feel like you are in a salumeria or panninotecca in Tuscany!! Great job, Anthony's!!"
